If I don't update soon...

Is because I am reading Breaking Dawn, yes, I am on the last book and i am addicted...*sigh* i really thought that the fact that i don't like chick flicks would help me here and I would not turn into a hormonal teenager reading about this love story...sad...sad...very sad!

My weekend..

So this weekend I am all alone, Pete took the kids to Oregon to visit grandma while he went to his cheesy hometown to get drunk and visit friends...hopefully not in that order...
So, I have been by myself all weekend, since Thursday night, and even though i thought i was going to be sad and lonely, it's not that bad...
I watch whatever i want on tv, i can clean and nobody will mess it up in a matter of minutes, i ate the same thing two days in a row and I finished a book in one day...ohhh but not just any book, i finished New Moon in ONE day!! I mean, it's gotta be some kind of record right??
I wanted to be online more, work on some siggies, and maybe make a couple of layouts, but no, i have been too busy watching scary movies and reading love novels... I also went to bed really late, not worrying about waking up early the next day, not that i wake up early on the weekends anyway...
Anyways, so here a little update on my boring weekend...:)

I think now that I started working, i am going to spend more money on kits...:)

The title of my blog could not be more perfect...

So, i have a few things to share.
First, I HAVE A JOB!! I got hired and will start working as a preschool teacher tomorrow Tuesday. I will be working with 4-5 year old, and i am kind of excited. I hope that I get used to the place and to the kids fast, there is nothing more frustrating than working with children and not knowing their names, "Hey....you.....don't run in the classroom" or "Ummm, what is the name of the boy in the blue shirt?... he just threw a toy"...it's very frustrating...I think i am going to stick little "Hello my name is..." stickers on their backs so that i learn fast, after all it's good for them to see their name written, right??
For those of you that don't know me well, i have worked with preschool kids before, i have close to 5 years of experience, so i know how to work with them. It has it's rewards and you have to have "it" to work with children...unfortunately i have worked with people that don't have "it"
Second, I started reading Twilight a few days ago, i kept thinking why is it that everybody gets addicted to this book, and i also kept thinking that it was not going to happen to me, because i saw the movie first, i know what is going to happen...well I was wrong.... I went to bed at 2:00am last night because i could not put it down, and what is the first thing (well, like the fifth thing) that i do this morning?? Layed on the couch to read some more...*sigh* I am afraid to say this out loud but it's a pretty darn good book...Now, i am almost 3/4 of the way done and i don't' want the book to end, because i am going to have to buy the second one...
Yesterday it was Easter, and it was rainy and windy here, so we stayed inside all day, we did our traditional Easter Egg Hunt indoors (not by my choice) and the kids loved what they got, unfortunately the Easter bunny is broke this year, but they didn't seem to mind...that makes the Easter Bunny happy.:)
And finally...here is another page i made, again, i am just a beginner, but I like doing this, i like to have to have this creative outlet...it makes me happy.

Is it sad that a commercial makes me teary eyed?

So lately they have been showing this awesome commercial of my home...San Diego, every time it's on, i have to stop what ever i am doing because i love it, i love the fact that they show little scenes of places where i have been and that i miss terribly, but how lame is it that a commercial makes me sad and happy at the same time?? I miss it soooo much, i have been trying to not think about it but sometimes i will be driving and all of the sudden a remember something, either a place or a person that i left behind and tears just start rolling down my face...I miss home...

More stuff i want to show off..:)

I wanted to show the beautiful Layout that Nicole made with pictures of my kiddos!! I was so surprised and happy when i saw it! I love the colors and the pictures that she chose..:) I am glad the pictures of my kiddos inpired her to make something so pretty.:)

And I also want to post the one I made with Dana's picture. I am really happy on how it came out, I am so new at this digi scrapping thing, but i worked really hard on this one.:)

Photo Editing..

Another one of my passions, and something that i do in my free time, is photo editing. I don't do fancy stuff, but i do little things here and there to change the look on some of my pictures..:) These two samples are super simple..:)

I decided to try it, and this is officially the first time that i post in a gallery, honestly because I think my work is not good enough to be in a gallery, is more for me to look at and practice.:)
